2:12: German Telekom information on further steps after judgment against the throttling plans
At 30.10 there was an impressive judgment. The district court in Cologne ruled that the German Telekom may not implement its throttling plans in flat rates. The ruling followed a suit of Consumer NRW. The ruling applies to both the originally announced reduction to 384 kilobits as well as that on 2 megabits per second – the Consumer Association did not agree with the designation PC.
“The term flat rate of customer connect with internet access via the landline a fixed price for a certain surfing speed and do not expect limitations” – as the former explanation. So far, there has been relatively quiet on the part of Deutsche Telekom, now shared with you that one on Monday, 02 December 2013 will inform about the new approach, in the judgment of the District Court of Cologne.
