Twitter has released new statistics regarding the presence of mothers in Saudi Arabia on its website, in conjunction with the celebration of people in some countries of the world known as “Mother’s Day”.

The company said that most of the times that mothers use Twitter before bedtime by 62%, and then wake up by 59%, and at the time of vacation by 54%, and that most of the mothers to the site through mobile devices, by 80%.

Twitter figures show that mothers make the most recent tweets to keep up with the latest news of friends, 50%, then watch videos and photos, 48% and 46%, respectively, and the most important is news and sports by 41%. Twitter is mostly focused on 50% other people’s news.

Follow-up of mothers on Twitter is focused on brands and companies by 73%, friends by 63%, family 50%, and celebrities 46%. With regard to the types of brands they follow on Twitter, the largest proportion goes to food commodities, and retail trade by 30%.

Forty-one percent of mothers say they follow brands to keep up with news, then product news, then sales and sales by 37%, and 27% of mothers buy the product.

In terms of the Twitter relationship on television, 74% of mothers reported that they use the site during advertisements, while 50% of mothers are reluctant to advertise on television while the program is broadcast, while 66% of mothers are looking for a brand or product seen during a TV commercial.

Twitter is a popular site in Saudi Arabia and is among the most widely used sites in the world.
