_Samsung is considering merging Note

and Galaxy S + models
Samsung would consider no longer making a Galaxy S + device and a Note device, but to merge the product lines. Since the arrival of the Galaxy S8 +, the difference in screen size with the Note variants has become very small.

It is not clear how Samsung wants to merge the two lines. The manufacturer could choose not to make more note instruments and to release only the Galaxy S and S + variants in the high-end segment, or to focus on the Note variant as the only large device.

According to the Korean website The Bell , which bases its information on sources in the industry, Samsung would consider merging the different models to save costs. The company would have been thinking of merging the various product lines since the beginning of last year and would have already had discussions with partners and suppliers about this.

Since the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy S8 + in 2017, the difference in screen size between the plus model in the S-series and the Note-model is practically no longer present. The S8 + received a 6.2 “screen and the Note 8 has a 6.3” screen. The main difference is the presence of the pen in the Note series.

Samsung announces at least this year a new Note-model. The Galaxy Note 9 is presented on August 9 and has rumored a 6.3 “screen, the stylus this time bluetooth and could be used at the touch of a button for example to pause music or take a picture.

Samsung also seems in any case to continue to expand the screens of the Galaxy S + models. According to rumors, the Galaxy S10 + will receive a 6.44 “screen next year, whether there is a Note 10 and whether that will get a bigger screen is not yet clear.
