A more sustainable and environmentally friendly technology for creating solar panels




Modern solar panels are certainly a source of clean energy, but the process of their manufacture can cause nasty damage to the environment. Trouble lies in the use of lead, which is toxic to improve the efficiency of the panels .

Researchers have long been trying to solve this problem, and here’s a group of scientists from Northwestern University have already appeared some positive results. They managed to create a tin-based perovskite, which is non-toxic element, the resource cnet.com.
