Acer comes with cheap fitness tracker and Windows Phone device




The manufacturer has its new products announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Both new devices coming out in the Liquid series. Fitness tracker called Liquid Leap + and is more or less a small upgrade from the previous version, the Liquid Leap. The touchscreen has an OLED panel and is 1 “as big as its predecessor. The appearance is more or less kept the same.

Connection with a smartphone can be established via Bluetooth 4.0. The housing of the wearable is resistant to water: up to half an hour at a depth of one meter. With the Liquid Leap +, it is possible, among other steps in order to count and measure sleep patterns, so that the features are similar to competitive wearables.

In addition, Acer Liquid comes with the M220, a budget smartphone that comes with Windows Phone. The device has a 4 “screen with resolution of 800×480 pixels. There is an unspecified 1.2GHz dual core processor built and the ram is 512MB. For 4GB storage pool which can be expanded with micro sdkaartjes and for making pictures there is a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 2 megapixel camera on the front.

The new fitness tracker to be released this month in Europe for a price of 79 euros. Who wants to buy the new smartphone will have to wait a little longer: the Liquid M220 is sold from April, also at a price of 79 euros. Acer Liquid promises the M220 in the future to provide an upgrade to Windows 10.
