Acer gives laptops upgraded with Intel Broadwell CPUs and Real Sense 3D camera




Acer has announced two existing laptops to provide an upgrade with Intel Broadwell processors. Aspire V also gets a 17 Nitro Intel Sense Real 3D camera, allowing users to operate the laptops with gestures.

Acer is the Aspire R13 convertible and the S7 ultrabook Broadwell processors provide. Broadwell is the fifth generation Core processors and Intel makes them at 14nm, where predecessor Haswell still produced in 22nm. Besides speed gain should deliver this battery last longer. New versions of the Aspire S7 R13 and also get support for Wi-Fi ac and there are models with 8GB RAM and 1TB storage, where two SSDs in RAID0 will care for. The models will be available in January, but prices are still unknown.

There is also a new version of the Aspire Nitro V17 laptop, which provides Acer Intel Sense Real 3D camera. The camera contains a regular camera also infrared and infrared laser projector. This acquisition will enable the laptop depth information which include control with gestures and 3D scan of the face is possible. The Aspire V17 Nitro with Real Sense 3D comes in January worldwide.
