Acer has introduced two new low-budget line Iconia tablet


The Taiwanese company Acer has decided not to wait for the international electronics exhibition CES 2014 , which will open its doors in a few days, and introduced several new tablets low price segment. We are talking about updates ruler Iconia – 7,9-inch A1-830 and the 7-inch Acer Iconia B1.

Model Acer Iconia A1-830 is powered by an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz, and offers 1GB RAM and 16 GB of non-volatile memory which can be expanded by another 32 GB with support for memory cards microSD.

Despite its low cost, the device got a very stylish and offers a 7.9-inch multitouch (detects up to 10 simultaneous keystrokes), IPS-display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Thickness is 8.15 mm trends and, according to representatives of Acer, it is very comfortable to hold in one hand, since the tablet weighs only 380 grams.

In European retail tablet Acer Iconia A1-830 will go on next month, and its price will be 169 euros. The device is equipped with two cameras (rear can shoot video in Full HD resolution, and take pictures in 2560 x 1920, and the front takes pictures in 1600 x 1200 resolution and is capable of capturing video in 720p), microUSB port and module Bluetooth 3.0.


Along with the announcement Iconia A1-830, the Taiwanese company Acer has introduced a novelty Iconia B1 – 7-inch tablet powered by a dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, and a choice of 16 and 32 GB of permanent storage. Unfortunately, the company does not specify the resolution 7-inch screen, but says that the display supports multi-function (detects up to 10 simultaneous keystrokes) and is perfect for reading e-books, games and videos.


New Iconia B1 will also appear in European retail later this month. For the 16GB version will ask 129 euros, and for 32 GB model, whose sales will start in late January, you will be asked 179 euros.
