Adobe releases patch for zerodaykwetsbaarheid in Flash forward

Adobe has released an update for Flash Player that could allow a critical leak is plugged. The existence of the zerodaykwetsbaarheid this week was announced. Earlier, Adobe until next week to come up with a patch.

Adobe Flash Player Flash Player with the version 19.0.0.226 is faster than anticipated availability through Adobe made. The update enforces security fixes through, Adobe is alluding to a critical vulnerability that was earlier this week found.

Soon after the discovery Adobe came up with a response, in which it promised to come in the week of October 19 with a patch. The update is now however made already available and is automatically deployed the next 24 hours.

According to security researcher who discovered the zeroday, the leak was used by hackers in operation Pawn Storm, aimed at government agencies and high-ranking politicians in Ukraine and Russia. Trend Micro believes that the operation is managed from Russia.
