Abu Dhabi Police announced the discovery of a financial fraud via e-mail aimed at Internet users in the UAE from unknown destinations so far.

Those letters trying to convince the victims as fraudulent are exposed to criminal prosecution in order to force them to convert the amount of money required by the cards “cashU”, one of the electronic payment methods available in the UAE.

And stated in that letter, “when you pay the fine lock will not open your computer in a period of time, ranging between one hour to 72 hours after the deposit of the money in the account, and if you did not pay within 72 hours be criminally ملاحقتك”.
