Alcatel Pixi comes with 3 smartphone that supports three operating systems

Electronics manufacturer Alcatel has launched a new smartphone that can run three mobile operating systems, namely Windows Phone, Android or Firefox OS. The device is called the Pixi 3 and will be available in various formats.

Alcatel late Friday in a press release that the manufacturer delivers the Pixi three in four variants. It is a 3G variant with a 3.5 “screen and three 4G phones with screen sizes 4”, 4.5 “and 5”. Thus, the manufacturer believes in their own words to better respond to the needs of different consumers.

Alcatel has the exact specifications of the device yet published. The manufacturer of mainly budget phones do that probably at the Consumer Electronics Show, which starts next Monday. An image that Friday was put online, it appears that the Pixi will be available in three different colors.

The name Pixi may do at some ring a bell. The defunct Palm came first called to come for its WebOS device. Later led Alcatel named for his first Pixi device with Android. Meanwhile seems Alcatel also have the Palm brand acquired. With that name, who is best known in the West, the manufacturer tries probably reach a larger audience.

Alcatel presented Friday except the Pixi 3 also first smart watches under the name Watch. This provides the manufacturer describes itself as a premium watch at an affordable price, while Alcatel has announced no price.
