Amazon doubles resolution e-ink screen Kindle Paperwhite




Amazon has a new model of the Kindle Paperwhite released. The e-reader will receive an e-ink display that has a resolution of 300ppi, a doubling of the Kindle Paperwhite which came on the market in 2014.

The Kindle Paperwhite , which backlight sits, has a 6 “screen with a significantly higher resolution of 1448×1072 pixels, compared to 1024×768 the previous Paperwhite. With the new resolution, the screen has 300 pixels per inch. In addition, the e-reader will by default use will create a new font, called Bookerly, and alignment of text has been modified, partly through the use of a new web browser engine.
