Amazon founder wants to deliver stuff on the moon

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has plans to deal with space company Blue Origin stuff in order to deliver on the moon. This must be done with a special lunar lander that carries the name Blue Moon.

Bezos made his plans known in an interview with The Washington Post after the newspaper already a confidential white paper got hold of. The intention is that a permanent residence is on the moon, and Blue Origin, the aerospace company founded by Bezos, then go take care of supplies.

According to the information in the white paper Bezos is working on a kind of Amazon service for the area. Among other supplies, equipment for scientific experiments and equipment habitats could be delivered by Blue Origin on the moon. The middle of next decade, the plans must be true, though could take place the first mission even in 2020. There appear to be no plans to deliver even people on the moon next gear.

Bezos hopes that NASA wants to support the plans of Blue Origin. There should be developed a new lunar lander, which can be launched include the private New Glenn rocket, but also should be possible to launch the Blue Moon from NASA’s Space Launch System.

Blue Origin has long been engaged in testing missiles for offering commercial space flights. Several times managed the company managed to leave off missiles weather countries, similar to what SpaceX is doing with its Falcon 9 rocket.
