“Amazon testing delivery chaperones in the Netherlands” – update




Amazon testing drones for the delivery of packets including the Netherlands. That has let Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos know. The shop tries are concerned chaperones further in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Washington Post editor Brian Fung announced on Twitter that Bezos announced the test at a meeting of members of his paper. Bezos is next director of Amazon owns the Washington Post.

It is unknown when and where Amazon drones tested in the Netherlands. The start of tests in the short term. The Inspectorate for Environment and Transport announces its application for testing drones that companies must give at least three weeks before the test.

Amazon has been working on the development of drones for delivery, but does not test by strict rules in their home country USA.

Update, 11:45: The Inspectorate for Environment and Transport has announced having received an application within Amazon. “If they want to fly, they have to make the request,” said a spokeswoman at Tweakers. Amazon has not responded to questions Tweakers previously suggested this week.
