Amazon wants to use customers to deliver packets




Amazon is working on a mobile app that allows existing customers of the store will be rewarded if they deliver local packets. With this delivery method, Amazon thinks the further delivery to lowering.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the mobile app is currently codenamed ‘On My Way’ is developed. Except that ordinary citizens in some cases packets can deliver, Amazon is also considering temporarily storing packets in shops. Amazon would not confirm the message of the US business newspaper.

It is not yet certain whether the Amazon On My Way app actually going to launch in the US It would also have to be the necessary practical problems there is still overcome in order to make it possible it delivered packets by customers, such as the prevention of theft and controlling the liability.

Amazon thinks it with a system for rewarding customers who deliver the parcels delivery, one of the highest costs for merchants, it may further pressures. Previously, the company came out with plans drones to commit to the delivery of packets, while Amazon in some US cities bicycle couriers the way sending to Prime Now customers to an hour to operate or, on a trial basis, close deals with taxi companies to deliver packets.
