AMD Announces Radeon Fury and 300 series graphics cards




AMD has at E3 his long-awaited Fiji’ announced Radeon GPU and 300 series. Fiji has been renamed to “Radeon R9 Fury ‘and will make its appearance in four different video cards. About 300 Series AMD made little details, but prices are known.

AMD announced four video cards which are based on the Fiji architecture. The top models are air-cooled Radeon Radeon R9 and R9 Fury Fury X, which will be supplied with water cooling. The GPU of the Fury X is made up of 8.9 billion transistors and be provided with 4096 stream processors, which accounts for 8.6 teraflops of computing power. The Fury cards use the newly announced hbm memory with a bus width of 4096bits.

Fiji GPU will also be reflected in the R9 Nano video card, which is only 15.3 centimeters long. There will also be a dualgpu variant available that AMD demonstrated in “Quantum Project,” a PC in a compact housing. When it comes to AMD Project Quantum is actually on the market.
