Find a Question:
AMD will release APUs with a TDP of 45 watts’
AMD would foreseeable future two-Richland APUs issue with a TDP of 45 watts. It involves the A8 and A10-6700T 6500t. The introduced not by AMD processors appeared in a list of supported processors on the site of MSI.
Richland die The new processors are not yet officially announced by AMD, but evidently using a bios update by some motherboards supported . The TDP of the processor is 45 watts, and thus are the first processors with an FM2 socket, which is less than 65 watts deprived.
The lower energy consumption is achieved in that the clock frequencies are lower than those variants that are more energy-consuming. The tap 6700T 2.5GHz, while the 6500t to do it. 2.1 GHz Using AMD’s Turbo Core frequency can undoubtedly be somewhat higher, but those speeds are not listed.
The onboard GPU is adjusted, the 6700T gets a HD8650D chip that tap 720MHz. Presumably has the same chip on GPU cores as the A10-6700, but the clock frequency is lower. AMD gets off the same trick with the 6500t, which HD8550D chip is integrated.
