Anand Lal Shimpi leave Anandtech for Apple




Anand Lal Shimpi, the well-known tech journalist behind Anandtech, goes to Apple. The founder of the popular technology site made known his departure last Sunday but then did not say where he was going. An Apple employee has confirmed the arrival of Shimpi.

Sunday announced Anand Lal Shimpi the departure at the site he founded. at age fourteen in 1997 “After 17.5 years digging, test, analyze and write about the most interesting things in tech, it’s time for change,” said Shimpi. He carries the baton of chief over to Ryan Smith, who is involved in Anandtech for ten years. Furthermore, new people adopted by Anandtech and given the good results of the site, the company would also save without him, expecting Shimpi.

In his announcement, the 32-year Shimpi not announced where he was going. An Apple employee confirmed however by Recode that he leaves for the iPhone maker from Cupertino. It is unclear what the journalist is going to do at Apple. In the past, Shimpi done consulting work for technology companies. According to 9to5Mac Shimpi is not the first AnandTech goes to Apple: smartphone reviewer Brian Klug would have gone to work earlier this year at Apple.
