Android 4.3 makes Android devices through TRIM faster

The Nexus 7 is a prime example of how bad memory management can slow a device. Even after a short use (2012 model), the tablet no longer provides the performance that had been right at the beginning. With Android 4.3 now comes the TRIM function, which should eliminate this problem. When deleting data blocks to be marked by flash memories that are no longer in use. Previously, it was so that the data were still existent, but not visible to the user. This led to the slowdown, as more data had to be kept the same.

Android 4.3 can run in background TRIM. Thus blocks are periodically enabled and occurs faster accesses to the memory. The function is available on all Nexus devices that have Android 4.3 already get active. The function is a part of the system and should find its use with Android 4.3 on other devices. Why Google probably did not mention this feature at the launch of Android 4.3 – anyway, at least now you no longer have access to the many apps that made it into the past in the Play Store? By the way, who the day einspielt be updated and is looking forward to the TRIM function, which should note something. Android 4.3 runs this command before seemed only under certain conditions. Anandtech writes: “the device Has not been touched for over an hour, no idle maintenance window event has been sent within 24 hours, and the device is Either off-charger with 80% battery or on-charger with 30% battery.”
