Android 5.0 on the M8, G3 and S5 – What brings lollipop for these devices?
People with a Nexus phone or tablet can since last November with Android Lollipop started. However, the vast majority of Android users have to wait longer because the manufacturers of their phones yet to customize the software. This time that goes fairly smoothly in most cases; before the end of the year already appeared the first test versions include Motorola, Samsung, HTC and LG, and now there are a number of phones even though official firmware versions.

Google did a lot of promises in the introduction of Lollipop, not only on appearance but also performance. For us that is reason enough for some recent phones, the HTC One M8, the Galaxy S5 and the LG G3 provide their Lollipop update and store testing. What manufacturers have left Googles Material Design, to what extent the new ART runtime cause the devices are faster and what are the implications for the battery life?
