Android App Ops: Without Root from Android 4.4.2 is no longer available

Android , News

With the app Ops functionality was introduced (from 4.3) in Android some time ago, which makes you able to escape Apps individual permissions. More control for the users, but that was once, because app Ops is now only possible with root.

Even if app Ops only with tricks was previously possible 4.4.2 this functionality is hardly possible in Android. Why this is so, says Google only with sparse justifications.

One reason given for that app Ops was intended from the beginning for developers, not for users. Now there is only access to it when looking at the Xposed framework for motor control and therefore their own devices must be at least rooted before.

The sounds now no longer after the open Android, which we all love so much. Whether the app Ops but not for all users, however, are again sometime possible, in my opinion, probably not be definitively excluded.
