Android: Chrome Beta gets native Chrome Cast-support for Web Videos




Most recently, Chrome is a beta version 34 for Android released. One of the most interesting innovations is likely the native integration of Chrome Cast be hiding in the beta as an activatable feature. Gets you in the beta of Chrome 34 for Android to chrome :/ / flags, so you can activate the direct-Cast Chrome support for online videos. The whole thing is still a bit buggy, I have the fun times just tried. Normally, this function is intended for embedded web videos to have it sent without accompanying app to the stick.

Since the whole thing is highly experimental, so I pretty much do not expect – and lo and behold at least for me just wanted to YouTube function, while other services are not allowed to send to the stick. Other users at Reddit had more luck in which folded videos from Vimeo and Co. But the setting option shows: Google wants that you can play via browser on the TV and other video portals and even those can comfortably control playback mobile then. The remote control for the non-linear TV experience is the smartphone or tablet.
