Android still has a leading position in the market

The eternal struggle between Android and iOS is not going to stop. A fresh report prepared by research firm comScore indicative of the fact that the Android platform still has a leading position in the market, although it has lost over the last couple of years a few percent.

If you look at the numbers of deliveries, we can see that Apple is the leader – 38.9 percent. It is noteworthy that in November last year, the figure was 35 percent. The second position is company Samsung, which receives over 21.3 percent. The numbers certainly lower, but the company still showed growth. Previous reports showed a 20.3 per cent.

The five leaders of supply also includes HTC, Motorola and LG, which shares accounted for 9.3, 8.4 and 6.8 percent respectively. Moreover, the rise of Apple and Samsung in this case is due precisely to the fact that the above-mentioned companies continue to slowly lose ground. With the most marked decline in this case observed in HTC – 1.7 percent. Next are Motorola and LG – 1,1 and 0,2 percent, respectively.

Speaking of platforms in general, the leading position is still occupied by Android. On his part falls 51.7 percent. Apple with its iOS located at the second position with 38.9 percent. The report also identifies BlackBerry , Microsoft and Symbian, whose share accounts for 5.4, 3.2 and 0.5 percent.

It is also interesting that, despite the lead, Android, compared with the previous report for November lost 2.0 percent of its influence. And Apple, in turn, increased the rate of 3.9 per cent compared with the previous reporting period.
