Antec introduces the GX330 housing
Antec has announced the GX330 housing. The cabinet is fitted with fan controllers, and can accommodate EATX motherboards and graphics cards with a length of 400mm. The housing will be in stores for 69 euros.
The GX330 comes in a white and a black variant, both with a transparent side panel. The cabinet accommodates two 2.5 “-ssd or -HDD and two 3.5” disks. In addition, a 5.25 “-bay. Antec supplies in the closet two 120mm fans with blue LEDs. A total of seven fans fit in. Also, the closet space for a 360mm radiator in the front and a 120mm-copy back.
At the front of the unit are connectors for audio-in and a USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port, a fan controller, and power and reset buttons. According to the press release, the case provides plenty of space for cable management and the backplate has a hole to simplify the installation of CPU coolers.
The naming of the case suggests that it is the successor of the GX300. That case, however, offered no support for EATX motherboards. However, there is more space for hard drives and disk drives in the GX300.
