AOC makes all-in-one PC based on Android OS 2.0 Remix




Monitor manufacturer AOC and software maker Jide presented an all-in-one computer that runs on the Android based Remix OS 2.0. The AOC device has a 23.8 “screen and a 64bit ARM processor.

According to Liliputing soc is a AMLogic S905 quad-core, with four ARM Cortex-A42 cores at 2GHz. There’s 2GB of RAM present in the PhD, which will be available in two versions: with 16GB or 64GB of storage. The other specifications are the same. The screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and thin screen edges. On the back are two HDMI ports, four USB ports and an Ethernet port view.

Aoi the PC is on Jide website under the heading AOC Mars and is currently being shown during the first edition of CES Asia in Shanghai. The Remix OS computer comes this summer in China. Possible AOC will introduce the device also in other regions, as there is a demand. A price is not yet known.

Jide spent already a tablet and a mini computer with Remix OS. Earlier this year appeared Remix OS 2.0. The free operating system based on Android, but is intended for use on PCs and has features such as a start menu, right click and the ability to drag and drop files and windows.
