Apple again to change the prices in the Russian App Store




Apple intends to change the prices in the Russian branch of the online store App Store, indicates distribution company for developers. In Cupertino are going to change the price tags on games and applications in a number of countries, including Russia. It does not specify in which direction prices change in our country.


Apple has set the price in catalog App Store at the end of December 2014. Bottom bracket for applications in the Russian department is now not 33, but 62 rubles – an increase of almost 100%. Second from the bottom standard price increased from 66 to 124 rubles, the third – from 99 to 185.99 rubles, the fourth – from 129 to 242.35 rubles, the fifth – with 329 to 618 rubles. The prices have not changed for all applications: the App Store were the same price tags and have new slots: 73.27 rubles, 317.5 rubles and others.

In developers mailing Apple said that in the coming days in Europe, Canada and Norway, prices will rise, decline in Iceland, and Russia has changed (which way – is not specified). Changes in prices, reportedly due to the fluctuation of currency exchange rates based on local tax rates.

“In the next 36 hours, rates will rise in the App Store for all areas of the European Union, as well as in Norway and Canada, Iceland and the decrease in the change in Russia. Revaluation is associated with changes in tax laws and rates. At the same time we will update the matrix of prices in the section «Rights and Pricing» in iTunes Connect », – said in a dispatch Apple.


Previous price increases for games and applications in the App Store for Russian users occurred in July 2013. The company added a new benchmark for applications in 39 rubles – an increase of more than 18%. The second standard price added 4.5%, jumping from 66 to 69 rubles. Top rates of 99 and 129 rubles survived, but 165 rubles turned into 169.
