Apple and IBM bring business iOS apps out
Apple and IBM have released the first apps that have been developed as part of their partnership. The Apple iOS applications need more feet to give the floor to the corporate market and IBM to grow the market for enterprise mobile apps.
Apple, IBM IBM Mobile First for iOS apps should give employees more mobility in their activities. As the example of an employee who during a sales faster, simpler and more secure information from a customer’s own business can retrieve. The location of the employee needs while no significant role to play anymore.
However, the apps focus on different markets. As Apple and IBM focus on business customers from the banking, retail, insurance, financial services, telecoms, governments and airlines. For example, pilots can use the app Flight Plan, which they can draw up a schedule. Would have to be given to planning, an overview of the crew or fuel diagrams. Incident Aware is also an application that needs to support the fight against crime. Police officers could get real-time information about an incident. It should include information about the victim or the escalation risk.
The apps would be provided with an additional layer of security. However, it is unclear how that protection extends to fit exactly. There must be sufficient further analysis capabilities and linkages with key business infrastructure. The apps are tailored to a company and then deployed, managed and updated through the IBM cloud facilities.
The new apps are the result of the partnership between Apple and IBM. A few months ago, both parties have an agreement with each other to jointly focus on the business market. Apple has in recent years gained market share in the enterprise market, but the mutual agreement should further strengthen that position.Viewing:-176
