Apple announces iOS for the car under name CarPlay
Apple announced Monday CarPlay. The software previously as iOS in the Car was known comes to cars from many manufacturers and focuses on the connection to an iPhone. CarPlay features include Siri interaction, navigation and music controls.

Some of these manufacturers will CarPlay demonstrate this week at the Geneva International Motor Show. The software will largely revolve around Siri, making it the question is whether the platform will be used in the Netherlands, supports Siri, nearly 2.5 years after the first release, the Dutch language yet. Via Siri users will be able to call, including contacts, voice mails can listen back and missed calls can answer. The personal assistant will also be able to read messages and provide directions in combination with Maps. Users can also tell Siri what they want to listen to in the car.
CarPlay will be available as an update to iOS 7 and works with the iPhone 5, 5S and 5C. The platform will be restricted to a limited group of cars that will appear this year, but Apple calls no models.
