Apple argues Jeff Williams as its new Chief Operating Officer or COO. Thus Williams takes the title on which Tim Cook had before the latter was Apple’s chief executive. For this, Williams was, inter alia, involved in the development of the Apple Watch.

The new coo came in 1998 at Apple and in 2004 became vice president operations. In addition, he worked on various projects around social responsibility, such as the production of the iPhone, writes Reuters. With the title Williams will now formally the role he has played since Cook became ceo.

Another change within the ranks went to marketing chief Phil Schiller. Schiller will now also lead the ins and outs of the App Store. This brings the hands of Eddy Cue, vice president of Internet software and services, free to focus on other issues, such as deals and partnerships with media companies in Hollywood and elsewhere.
