Apple Isaac The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is already available on devices include Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo, but Apple believes that the game contains too much violence against children to be played on its devices. This would break one of the rules that Apple uses to place apps in its store. The founder of Nicalis, the publisher and developer of the game late on his Twitter managed to disagree with the decision and shows examples of other games that are allowed though. What will the company against the decision is still unknown.

Earlier it was the original The Binding of Isaac also blocked , then by Nintendo. The reason for this was the presence of dubious religious content. Where it is rare for Nintendo to block a game directly, it is less unusual for Apple. During the debate in America about the confederation flag as a symbol of slavery were games that made use of the blocked flag.

The game has starring a boy named Isaac, who tries to escape from his mother, because she wants to sacrifice him to their god. It is loosely based on the Bible that Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac to prove his faith in God. Where in the Bible story of the sacrifice is stopped by an angel, Isaac says in the game only.
