Apple announced on Wednesday it had bought Beddit, a start-up company specializing in hardware and application tracking for sleep, and did not disclose the financial details of the deal.

Bidet manufactures a monitoring device that tracks heartbeat, breathing, and bedtime when placed on the bed. The device is available on Apple’s e-store for $ 149.95, and transmits data to its ” Bidet” application on iPhone phones for data analysis.

The Finnish company said in a statement on its website: “I bought a bidet by Apple. Personal data will be collected, used and disclosed in compliance with Apple’s privacy policy. ”

For its part, Apple explained that users of the “Bidet” will not notice any change in the use of the application after the deal.
