UAE residents eagerly await the beginning of next week to explore the crescent moon for the first day of Eid al-Fitr. Apple unveils a new series of “Photos on iPhone” to highlight the magic of the Eid by capturing a distinctive imagery collection of the moon, one of the symbols associated with the feast, and raising awareness among the UAE population about the ease of astronomical photography and the possibility of enjoying it on Level of individuals.

For about a month, five local photojournalists went out on a pictorial mission to take aesthetic images of the moon in various roles using an iPhone phone and with the help of a simple telescope. Photographers have shown that anyone can enjoy a pictorial experience of space by following simple steps.

These images are a celebration of the joy of the Eid to adorn the streets of the Emirates of Dubai and Abu Dhabi this collection of pictures, which shows the moon shine Baha in the heart of the Emirates, creating unique paintings that took the lenses of their children.

In order to support the photographers on their journey, the astronomer Andrew Simms, who guided local photographers during their entirely new photographic experience, was consulted. “This campaign comes to prove that any ordinary person can become an astronomer,” said Andrew. “You do not have to be a professional to enjoy taking pictures of the wonders of space. For example, anyone with an iPhone phone and a simple telescope and easy steps to get very close to the moon can surprise anyone who sees it. ”

“The key to capturing successful astronomical images is to capture the necessary detail and control the lighting level well. Light from the moonlight should be mitigated by adjusting the exposure on your phone to help you show details on the moon like lunar terrain. “In turn, I advise everyone to acquire a simple telescope to enjoy the beauty of outer space.”

To discover the talent of photography hidden within us, Apple seeks to make astronomical photography available to all individuals who want to master it in the UAE by providing a series of workshops and special photography tours to learn how to photograph the moon at Apple stores at Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and Yas Mall. These workshops will allow you to learn about the techniques used to photograph the moon and use the appropriate applications to make the required adjustments to the images only through the use of an iPhone phone.

For her part, UAE lawyer Huda Ben Reda commented on her experience of the moon. “This is one of the best imaginations I’ve ever had. Every day I was surprised by the amazing changes that are taking place on the moon that we can not see in the naked eye. I was also delighted to be able to capture the beauty of the outside world with my lens. ”

“The moon was a new experience for me,” said Jamila Ahli, a UAE-loving traveling enthusiast who has a passion for photography. “I never imagined that I could photograph the moon with such clarity and proximity. For me, I enjoy the outdoor activities and looking for natural beauty in every picture I take, so this experience was useful for me and expanded the horizons of my vision of things around me. I enjoyed watching the moon in all its stages and forms. Each stage carried a new photographic challenge for me in terms of working on adjusting the exposure and concentration to suit the different aspects of the moon. As a result I got a great and rich photo collection.
