Apple is good at making computers. She once again demonstrated this today, showing the updated MacBook Pro . Nevertheless, the graphics remains the direction where Apple would not interfere with gaining experience. This is what the company did. According to The Verge, Apple worked with Blackmagic Design on the new eGPU, which entered the Apple Store.

The new version of macOS will support eGPU for the first time. All that remained was to create devices that would get along with everything Apple does. The new eGPU from Blackmagic Design is exactly that. You can simply connect it to your MacBook and monitor.

eGPU already supports the work with the monitor LG UltraFine 5K Display, which Apple actively sells. The connection is through the Thunderbolt port 3.

In total, there are two Thunderbolt ports, four USB 3 ports and one HDMI 2 port. EGPU is based on the Radeon Pro 580 video card with 8 gigabytes of RAM. This device is exactly what you need to immerse yourself in virtual reality and the world of computer games.

Already this weekend, the novelty can be purchased for $ 699.
