Apple iPhone allowed to work in LTE-network Yota
Fourth federal operator Yota has agreed with Apple on the iPhone activation support networks fourth generation (LTE) operator. This is stated in the official press release.
“Since September 17 by Yota LTE will be available on smartphones and iPhone 5s 5c after upgrading the operating system to iOS 8”, – reported in Yota, adding that the new models of smart phones iPhone 6 and 6 iPhone Plus connection by Yota LTE will work on default.
Yota in August to provide services for voice cellular communications services under their own brand based on GSM and 3G cellular operator “MegaFon”. In the first stage Yota provided voice services in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region with reduced commercial exploitation. Yota previously provided services only wireless Internet access technology LTE.
Pre-order SIM-cards by Yota began in the second half of July this year. To date, the order for “Sims” opened in 20 cities of Russia. After registration of the pre-order the person receives a notice on your smartphone as soon as SIM-card Yota will be available in his region. The main plus point of using Yota – high-speed mobile Internet LTE – all this time was not available for the owners of iPhone , even officially bought in Russia. This is due to the fact that as a new Yota mobile operator officially did not have time to go check Apple’s use of LTE. After the release of the final version of iOS 8, scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, the operator will provide users with iPhone 5s 5c and access to high-speed network.
