Find a Question:
Apple is developing a new sensor technology
A key factor in the success of Apple, in addition to an excellent marketing strategy is constant innovation in its products. First, the first iPhone with a touch screen presentation turned to mobile phones, and now, Apple wants to go one step further by releasing a new smartphone with a curved screen and face detection technology the way you play. Another patent confirms these rumors.
On Tuesday, the Office of Patent and Trademark United States published information about another patent from Apple called “Touch button with two levels of recognition.” In the title and in the accompanying schematic illustration of the invention is presented as a “button”. Nevertheless, the document refers to the possibility of application of this technology in touch screens.
It should be noted that the patent was registered in the Register more December 6, 2011, and officially published until now. Therefore, the work on the new technology have been conducted for a long time, and more than likely that they went beyond mere “button”.
The principle of operation of the invention is simple and obvious. The button has multiple levels of sensitivity. Each of them is responsible for a specific action. In addition, it is assumed the ability to read finger movements while holding down one of the modes.
In the case of the successful implementation of face recognition technology forces touch the screen, Apple is poised to make another revolution in the user interface. Now, to switch between tabs, adjust the volume, or return to the main menu, it will be enough just to change by pressing either make a subtle movement of your finger.
In general, the application of this technology is extensive and may be limited only by the imagination of developers. Hard to say, as far as possible to implement and at least partially to introduce this innovative development in the next model iPhone. It is possible that the end user will test it is not soon, but it’s nice to know that work on technologies of the future now.Viewing:-304
