Apple May Prevent The Sale Of Some IPhone Phones In The United States

Apple is facing legal problems that could prevent it from selling some iPhone phones in the United States if Qualcomm wins its last legal battle against Apple, so it may be very difficult to buy some iPhone devices, A San Diego-based company with an iPhone phone manufacturer.

Qualcomm plans to file a complaint with the International Trade Commission, accusing iPhone phones of infringing six of its mobile patents. Qualcomm wants the committee to ban the importation of some non-Qualcomm iPhones and Apple’s ban on selling devices it has already brought to the states United Nations.

The chips manufacturer is seeking to block the sale of a range of devices including the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus operating on the AT & T and T-Mobile networks, as well as some iPads, where they use Intel 4G chips, while the phones from other mobile service companies such as Verizon uses Qualcomm processors .

These standards limit the scope of the ban and avoid harming the business of Qualcomm, which gets a lot of money from Apple’s chips. “Apple continues to use our technology without paying for it,” said Qualcomm general counsel Don Rosenberg.

The International Trade Commission is expected to review the complaint in August, Qualcomm said, with the trial expected next year. Qualcomm’s general counsel indicated that any ban on iPhone phones would not happen at all for 18 months .

Qualcomm filed a related lawsuit on Thursday in a federal court in California, along with the filing by the Trade Commission for financial damages, and explained that Intel chips do not infringe patents, but Apple’s use of those patents on iPhone phones leads to infringement Rosenberg believes the case will be suspended until the International Trade Commission makes its decision.
