Find a Question:
Apple may release a new monitor with Mac Pro
[Rumors] Apple may release a new monitor with Mac Pro
A new generation of powerful computers Mac Pro was presented at WWDC developer conference in June this year, but in contrast to MacBook Air , which were also announced during the presentation, Mac Pro is not on sale or in a day, or even a month. Apple promised that computers will be available during the fall, but then inexplicably shifted the timing of release.
Mac Pro should be available in retail stores corporation within the next month , and certainly before the Christmas holidays. Analysts believe that Apple has decided to reward their potential customers for the long wait for new items and together with the Mac Pro has announced the start of sales of 4K high-resolution monitors. Their assumptions indirectly confirmed by the recent rumors about early production 27-inch and 32-inch 4K panels by AU Optronics, which is one of the suppliers of Apple, says MacRumors.
According to the publication, both panels support the incredibly high resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and it can “make friends” with the new Mac Pro using the Thunderbolt interface 2. The latter also was introduced in June and is able to transfer data twice as fast as its predecessor – at speeds up to 20 Gbit / s.
In the current generation of Thunderbolt Display Apple uses panels from the company LG, which is the maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Not entirely clear whether the new displays AU Optronics meet current standards computers Mac, because their work they use standard DisplayPort (eDP).
The maximum screen resolution, can work with Thunderbolt interface 2 is 4096 x 2160 pixels (Cinema 4K). So from Apple would be preferable to order panels from another supplier that they maintain the highest resolution.

Another question – the price. It is not excluded that the cost of the monitors will be comparable with the purchase of more than one Mac Pro , if not two.
Be that as it may, even if Apple decides to use the data in panel Thunderbolt Display, it will take time for it to establish production of a new generation of their monitors. This, as we know, it takes quite a long time, and it is unlikely the company will have time to organize everything before the end of this year. So while you can bite my lip and wait for the next presentation, where possible, will be presented the new monitors.Viewing:-345
