Apple music streaming service a la Spotify has been found wanting

Spotify, Rdio, Simfy and Co are becoming more popular and the masses accepted models where you pay a monthly sum X to consume large amounts of music, without them really possess. There is a lot of potential and would be companies like Google and Apple are reluctant to miss. To date we hear neither Google nor Apple Reliable.

The New York Times reports about it now, however, that we have to wait longer for this functionality will be added to iTunes. Reason: logically in such negotiations – the coal! Thus, such a service is used by a wide audience, it also needs to be as thick all providers to make a mountain tracks available. If the majors and Apple in this respect but disagree are to such negotiations drag on and on – both the company from Cupertino and the major labels are not known for giving in a lot when it comes to their own positions.

Caschy has some numbers gathered that we – as unofficially – but must be treated with caution. Accordingly, Pandora pays for its radio service 12 cents per 100 of played songs, Spotify suppressed contrast with 35 cents from a lot more. When the traditional numbers fit, Apple wants to position themselves much lower – just 6 cents would be willing to pay. That’s much less than the competition for 100 streamed songs pulls the trigger, here we have to consider, however, that Apple has held a very different market position – with iTunes one has pushed the mp3 history almost single-handedly.

Directed so you address the fact that the scramble for cents and streams will continue for some time – precious time that the competition can exploit. The service will come and Google will catch up here, I’m sure – let’s see how long it will take for the two still / need.
