Apple opens research center in Cambridge




The company Apple, the world’s leading developer of software and hardware, plans to open a new research and development center in the UK, said Monday Business Weekly. The new branch will appear in the oldest universities in Europe, Cambridge.


Specialists of the new research center will develop Apple software. Initially, the center will operate a total of 20 people in the next year the number will increase to 40. According to the original plan, the activities of the center will focus on the development of software solutions for mobile devices and computer companies. The office will be equipped in the prestigious center of the street Hills Road.

Cambridge is considered a city of scientists, students and the highest modern technology. There are more than 1000 different research companies operating in the fields of electronics, biotechnology and software. Its affiliates in the “Silicon Valley of British” discovered many large corporations, including Microsoft and Sony.
