Apple patent reveals Remote with Touch ID




Apple has received a patent on a technique for adding the fingerprint scanner Touch ID to a remote control. Which could be used for the Apple TV, but from the description it appears that also is thought to link with all kinds of household appliances.

In the patent a technique is described for the coupling of Touch ID to a remote control for the Apple TV.
