Apple posts record profit of 74.8 million iPhones delivered
Apple has in the past quarter, almost as many iPhones as delivered in the same quarter a year ago. Apple delivered a record profit of 18.4 billion dollars. Apple, however, yielded considerably less iPads, despite the advent of the iPad Pro.
Many analysts had expected Apple Tuesday for the first time in the history of the iPhone a decline in the number of copies distributed would report at its quarterly figures. That is not the case, delivered with 74.8 million iPhones Apple knew the record number to surpass 74.5 million from last year even narrowly. Apple knows still maintain growth in supply, though it is by about 0.4 percent compared to the same quarter last year now lower than ever.

Apple sold 16.1 million iPads during the quarter, while last year there were 21.4 million. The decrease of nearly 25 percent is the strongest decline since early 2014. The more expensive iPad Pro is also able to save the turnover from iPad sales. The iPads yielded 21 percent less turnover than a year ago.
The number of delivered Macs showed an unexpected decline. For the first time since 2013, Apple notes again negative growth figures for the number of deliveries of iMacs and MacBooks. Last quarter Apple was 5.3 million Macs. A year ago there were 5.5 million.
The quarterly figures show that the turnover from China with $ 18.4 billion is now higher than the revenue from Europe, which is $ 17.9 billion.
