Apple pulls back on June 30 from iAd – update
Apple has indicated that it will stop the self-serve ads via iAd. Thereby confirming rumors the company recently started doing the rounds. It seems that iAd should be noted that developers themselves managing an automated system.
iAd On his website developer let Apple know that it now no longer will accept new applications for inclusion in the iAd Network. Existing users of iAd will have until June 30 to make use of the services and to earn money by displaying advertising. Then Apple pulls out of iAd.
The news Apple confirms earlier rumors that it would partially stop iAd. Earlier this week, BuzzFeed reported that Apple’s iAd management would like to outsource. The site said while it iAd myself would remain. It seems that it is still possible after June 30 to make your own ads and show without Apple is acting as an intermediary. That developers are no longer dependent on Apple, and they no longer need 30 percent of revenues to cede said the leaked plans.
Apple announced in 2010 the advertising service iAd, with which it entered the competition with companies like Google. It seems that the company from Cupertino are not enough customers has managed to bind to continue to service in the current way.
