While we wait for the final version of OS X Mavericks , Apple has continued to update his “cat” line of operating systems. It was learned that the update is available for download at No. 10.8.5, which fixes some bugs and markedly improved performance.

Among the updates included the following:

Fixed a bug that sometimes did not show the letter to the Mail;
Increased efficiency of file transfer protocol AFP via channel 802.11ac Wi-Fi;
Increased reliability Xsan;
Increased reliability of the transmission of large files over Ethernet;
Increased performance with server authentication Open Directory;
Includes improvements that are included in the software update 1.0 for MacBook Air mid-2013.

Install the update is recommended for all users. It can be done, as always, using software update service.
