Apple releases watchOS 5.1.1 update

after problems with previous version
Apple released WatchOS 5.1.1 after retiring the watchOS 5.1 update last week when some of the Apple Watch Series 4 users reported problems. For some, their smartwatches continued to hang after the watchOS 5.1 update with the Apple logo after booting.

Apple Watch Series 4 Apple has released watchOS 5.1.1 Monday and replaces the previous version of watchOS version 5.1. The watchOS 5.1.1 release notes do not mention the stuck Apple Watch Series 4 smartwatches. Several websites report, however, that the bug that caused the problems is not part of the new update and that the problems should be resolved in this way.

WatchOS 5.1 mainly contained bug fixes and added a function to the fourth generation to automatically contact emergency services if the watch does not detect movement for a minute after a hard fall. This function is also described in the explanation on watchOS 5.1.1. Furthermore, the latest update solved an issue where the Walkie-Talkie app did not fully install.
