Apple returned the “Camera Roll” in iOS 8.1
To the dismay of many users of iPhone and iPad, Update 8 on iOS, Apple decided to get rid of the most popular section of the application “Photo” – total photo library. Instead, users can find the necessary images in the “Years” Collection, “Moments”, etc. Apparently, the Cupertino thought it was wrong decision and returned the lost collection of photos in iOS 8.1, though not by default.
As for the final version of iOS 8.1 is still unknown, but the first beta firmware users have to give up on the image storage service iCloud to return Mediatheque film. This can be done as follows:
Step 1: Go to “Settings”> “Photography and Camera.”
Step 2: Locate the switch “Multimedia iCloud (beta)” and put it into an inactive position.
Step 3: In the 8 and iOS iOS 8.0.2 it may not lead to anything, but iOS 8.1 will appear in the annex Photo Film and My photostream.
iOS 8.1: «Multimedia iCloud (beta)” is included
iOS 8.1: «Multimedia iCloud (beta)” off
According to rumors, the release of the public version of iOS 8.1 will be held on October 20 , as reported by a number of informed sources. Hopefully, that will retain kupertinovtsy function before the final version of the update.
We also recall that Apple is planning to hold the October presentation at approximately the same numbers. It is likely that the two events are somehow overlap, and that’s how it is – remains a mystery.
