Apple Rotterdam portrays the first Dutch city in 3d in Maps




Apple has the first Dutch city of Rotterdam a 3D display data in Apple Maps. The feature is already available for, among other American cities, but it is the first time that the 3D feature works in the Netherlands.

The 3D view allows users to see images made by aircraft from the port city of Rotterdam as they look in Apple Maps, the map default application on iPhones and iPads state. The function works since 2012 for some US and European cities, but places in the Benelux were missing until now.

IT student Robbin the Kruyff noted that the 3D view and the flyover works, then there iculture first over wrote . The 3D feature currently only works for the city of Rotterdam. For other major cities in the Benelux, such as Amsterdam, Antwerp and Brussels, Apple users can not use the display of aircraft images in Apple Maps.
