Apple”, “Samsung” for $ 22 million for litigation expenses
Apple filed a judicial request for more than $ 22 million from Samsung, as a compensation for what the company spent on the case against Korean company and accused them of violating two patents “iPhone” and “iPod.”
Apple demanded that those Samsung to pay nearly $ 16 million as fees charging, this amount represents about one third of the amount incurred as expenses on the case so far.
The US company said it incurred $ 60 million charge for litigation and Attorney’s fees for lawyers involved in the legal battle against the “Samsung”.
Apple said it wants the Korean company 6.2 million dollars in additional compensation expenses other miscellaneous incurred during the case, and demanded the Court to approve such compensation after fixed intention “Samsung” deliberate violation of patents for two “iPhone” and “iPod.”
A US Court had condemned the “Samsung”, last year, violated patents owned by Apple, and the company was fined US $ 1 billion by reducing the fine to $ 599 million for mathematical errors by the jury.
The “Samsung” some days ago was fined $ 290 million new Apple, bringing the size of the fines to the Korean company in the United States to about $ 890 million, in addition to a number of organs of attended the sale in America.
