Apple stops selling Bose products

Apple has Bose products removed from its online store. No reason was given, but it is likely that it has something to do with the recent legal battle between the two companies. No Bose earphones and speakers also sold in the Netherlands.

The disappearance of Bose products was first noted by 9 To 5 Mac in the US Apple store. Shortly after the earbuds and speakers were taken from the Dutch store. Some physical stores have confirmed more to deliver any Bose products and Apple itself has confirmed that they are no longer available. No reason was however given for discontinuation of the sale.

It is plausible that a recent lawsuit between Bose and Beats has something to stop the sale. Bose accuses Beats sure it uses its patented noise canceling technology. Because Apple Beats recently acquired it is in fact a lawsuit between Apple and Bose. Although a settlement has been in the business affected , this is the relationship between the two companies seems to have cooled.

Apple still sells earphones and speakers from other manufacturers, such as Bowers & Wilkins, Philips and Harman Kardon. Previously there were already rumors out that Apple would stop selling Bose products.
