Apple switches to main car project for personal reasons




Steve Zadesky, head of the automobile project at Apple, has resigned for personal reasons. Zadesky had the past two years in charge of the project and worked since sixteen years with the company.

The news shows from sources of The Wall Street Journal. Zadesky is now at Apple and when he actually leaves the company at this time is not known. Zadesky led the project from the beginning. He had the responsibility to determine the objectives of the project and increase the size of the team. Last September, 600 people would work on the project which internally is called Project Titan.

Zadesky has also worked on many other products from the American company, including the first all iPod and iPhone models to date. In addition, he worked as an engineer at Ford from 1996 to 1999. It is not clear who will take over the baton of Zadesky. Apple has still given no official confirmation that it is working on a car. Which have come in the past, messages on Apple an old, converted and heavily guarded naval base used to test for its cars and that the company in consultation has been with the State of California to arrange permission for the self-propelled vehicles on public roads to be tested. Apple would also be actively looking for engineers to work with Project Titan. The company intends in 2019 the car ready have, reportedly.
