Apple: Tim Cook Announces soon first AR / VR developments?

First signs are at least there. Tim Cook himself talking for quite some time every now and then from the fact that the interest in augmented reality and virtual reality is certainly present. After recent rumors Apple have now just set two not entirely uninteresting people who could drive the issue forward. One of them was previously for Magic Leap, the other worked for Oculus VR. Much more than speculation can probably not yet give so by itself. The Financial Times wrote in January of that “hundreds” Apple employees with the development in the area of AR / VR are active.

Whether it eventually will be a headset with apple logo or fails in a completely different notch, in my opinion, the company from Cupertino was missing one of the big players in this field. According to Business Insider Tim Cook is also more interested in augmented reality as on the virtual reality, since in the latter in the long run would not so pull a commercial interest. What is there? We will see, maybe even in one of the next events from Apple?
