Apple’s share in China reached a record in 2014, while the Samsung has fallen by almost half




2014 was a disaster for Samsung. Fall has arrived in the III quarter of 60% was the result of lower demand in the South Korean unit, including the flagship smartphone Galaxy S5, poor sales which led to a series of layoffs and wage cuts of top managers. Another problem for the Koreans is Apple, which dominates the high-end segment due to the ecosystem and brand loyalty. As a result, Samsung has found itself in a difficult situation, out of which there is already a lot of months.


Samsung feels the changes in the market for much fallen by 60% of the profit in the III quarter of 2014. Among the anti-crisis measures taken by the company management – reducing the lineup , which should reduce costs. In addition, the South Korean experts are working on the new flagship Galaxy S6 , apparatus, according to some, will be created from scratch.
